Cable Railing

Are you considering installing cable railing in Fairbanks, AK? If so, there are many options for the posts and railings and each have their own pros and cons. Installing a cable railing system has the advantage of maintaining a clear view (through the railing). This is especially useful on properties with a view, where a more solid railing would obscure the view. On this project, the customer selected pressure treated wood with the cable railing.

Project Description:

We installed this cable railing in Fairbanks, AK for a customer with a large EPDM garage roof deck. The main challenge of the job was find a consistently secure attachment for the posts into the garage roof frame. It worked in the end and the posts and railings were extremely solid, beautiful and gave the homeowner a large outdoor deck space to enjoy those long sunny, summer days in Alaska!
